Have you ever woken up, checked your phone, and felt like you just got kicked out of a party you didn’t even know you were at? That’s exactly what happened to me when I realized the official X account for Dogeparty (@DogepartyXDP) had blocked me. Yep, blocked. No warning. No heated exchange. No questionable memes (well, at least not directed at them). Just a straight-up digital door slammed in my face.
I mean, seriously—what did I do?

A Love Story Gone Wrong
For those who don’t know, Dogeparty is an old-school token platform built on Dogecoin. It’s been around since 2014, way before the current wave of memecoin mania. Think of it like Counterparty, but for the good boys of crypto. And if you’ve been following me, you know I’ve been messing around with Dogeparty tokens for a while—heck, I even created my own token, Rabies. (Because what’s a Dogeparty without a little bite, right?)
So imagine my surprise when I went to tag @DogepartyXDP in a post and saw those four dreaded words: You are blocked from following this account.
Huh?
I had to check twice because, let’s be real, sometimes I open X half-asleep and mistake my coffee mug for my phone. But nope—it was real. I was officially exiled from the so-called Dogeparty.
Theories, Theories, and More Theories
At first, I laughed it off. Maybe it was a mistake? Maybe someone fat-fingered the block button while scrolling through their feed? It happens. But then I started thinking. Why would Dogeparty—an account that should want engagement, discussion, and, you know, actual users—block someone who actively talks about Dogeparty?
Let’s break down some possible reasons:
1. Jealousy Over Rabies
Let’s be real—some people don’t like competition. And while I wouldn’t exactly call Rabies a “threat” (it’s more of an experimental meme token), maybe someone running the account didn’t like that I was making moves in the Dogeparty space. Could they have seen me as a rival? A rebel? A threat to their memecoin empire?
Sounds ridiculous. Then again, so does the fact that I got blocked for no reason.
2. An Old Grudge I Don’t Remember
Did I accidentally roast one of their admins in a past life? Maybe I dunked on them in a meme war and forgot about it? If you’ve ever spent time in the crypto space, you know people have long memories when it comes to internet beef. And let’s be honest, I’ve never been shy about calling out nonsense when I see it.
But come on—blocking me instead of just telling me what’s up? Weak move.
3. They Thought I Was a Scammer
Crypto is riddled with scammers, impersonators, and all-around shady characters. I’ve dealt with them firsthand—heck, someone even tried to impersonate me to steal my X handle recently. So maybe Dogeparty mistook me for a scammer? Maybe my posts about memecoins, gambling, and being a self-proclaimed crypto degenerate triggered some automated “block suspicious accounts” protocol.
If that’s the case, it’s just lazy moderation. I mean, a quick scroll through my feed would show that I’m just a guy having fun in the wild west of crypto, not some low-effort rug puller.
4. Pure, Unfiltered Dogeparty Drama
Listen, the crypto world is full of drama—sometimes justified, sometimes just people being people. Maybe the person behind @DogepartyXDP is feuding with someone I know? Maybe there’s some secret Dogeparty council, and I accidentally insulted their sacred traditions? Maybe they just don’t like my face? Who knows.
So, What Now?
Honestly? I could reach out and ask. I could make a burner account and DM them, play detective, and try to solve the mystery. But where’s the fun in that? If Dogeparty wants to keep me out, that’s their loss. The memecoin world moves fast, and there are plenty of other projects that actually want community engagement.
Still, it does make me wonder—who else have they blocked? Have they shut out other community members for no reason? If so, that’s a bad look for a project that relies on grassroots support.
If you’re reading this and you’ve been mysteriously blocked by @DogepartyXDP too, let me know. Maybe we’ll start our own party—the Unblocked Dogeparty. Free drinks, free memes, and no arbitrary bans.
What do you think? Did I get blocked for a reason, or is this just another case of crypto weirdness? Drop a comment or tag me on X (unless you’re @DogepartyXDP, in which case, hi, unblock me).
